LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on Dec. 19 were: first, Arline Laplante and Roger Labbe; second, Linda Dostie Scott and Roland Bosse; third, Gene Brown and Steve Agurkis; fourth, Ike LeCompte and Ed Madden; fifth, Claudette Grandmaison and Pat Morin.

Knights plan bean, casserole supper
SABATTUS — The Knights of Columbus of the Our Lady of the Rosary Parish will sponsor a baked beans and casserole supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Our Lady of the Rosary, 131 High St.
Proceeds to benefit parish programs. The complete supper includes desserts and beverages. Contributions: $7.50 for adults, $3 for children under 12.

Quilting class starts in January
MONMOUTH — A quilting class will be held at the Packard Activity Center, under the United Church on Main Street, from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays from Jan. 7 through April 15.
The class includes patterns and instruction, and costs $30. All proceeds go to United Church of Monmouth.
There are four patterns to choose: a three-color quilt, mini wall-hanging, batik or scrappy beauty. Participants may also work on their own projects.
