COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Nancy Ellen Reiser, 79, of Cookeville, Tenn., died Tuesday, Dec. 24.

Nancy was a parishioner of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Cleveland, Tenn., where she was a former RCIA director and former member of the parish council. She had a B.A. degree from the University of Maine and a master’s degree in education from the University of Tennessee. She taught English at Cleveland High School for 25 years.

Survivors include two children, Erich Reiser and wife, Donna, of Cookeville, Tenn., and Ellen Reiser of Richmond, Va.; two grandchildren, Rutger Reiser and Hannah Reiser, both of Cookeville, Tenn.; three step-grandchildren, Isaac Miller and Justin Sancho, both of Cookeville, Tenn., and Josiah Miller of Detroit; and one brother, Michael Gentile of Jay.

She was predeceased by her husband, Matt Reiser; parents, Michael and Elizabeth Gentile; and sister, Mary Lewis.
