LEWISTON — Allen Howard Smalley, 47, a resident of Jay, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, at Central Maine Medical Center, following a long illness.

He was born on Jan. 10, 1966, in Hartford, Conn., the son of William H. Smalley and Minnie (Wheeler) Smalley. Allen worked at chicken farms in Connecticut, at Loudon Speedway in New Hampshire and drove buses.
