How often do we take a good look at ourselves in a mirror? Or, perhaps I should ask, how often do we look out our windows and take a good look at God’s handiwork?
We have to admit that what we see outside that window is not something humans could ever accomplish. As we see a ground covered with pure white snow and the sun shining on the ice-covered tree branches, remember that God does that for us.
In reality, I have to admit that not everyone may see things the way I do. For, like the snow, we push it around and the dirt gets mixed in, and it seems like some are trying to be like a large snow shovel and push God out of everything.
The Ten Commandments are no longer boldly displayed; prayer is no longer a part of the school routine and heaven forbid that a child should bring the word of God into the classroom.
Will “In God We Trust” be taken off U.S. money?
That can be done, as the other things I mentioned have been done, but God will always be here, you can be sure of that.
For those who would question that, the next time you walk out your door, feel the sun as it greets you; feel the cool breeze across your face from a wind you cannot see.
Stop and think; look out the window. Don’t leave God out.
