1928 – 2014

TORRINGTON, Conn. — Jean H. Haynes, 85, of Torrington, Conn., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12.

She was born in Mexico on May 27, 1928, a daughter of the late Anna (Harlow) and Maurice Horne.

She is survived by a son, Gerald “Jay” Haynes; a daughter, Beverly Manes and her husband, Joe; granddaughters, Jean and Corinne Manes of Torrington, Conn.; sisters, Helen Mitchell of Rumford and Ruby Jordan of Jay; and many nieces and nephews.
