1916 – 2014

LEWISTON — Juhette R. (Parent) Richard, 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, March 26, at Montello Manor.

She was born in Lewiston on June 17, 1916, to Rodolph and Roberta Parent. She was educated in Lewiston Schools.

She married Thomas Richard on Feb. 15, 1947. Thomas passed on March 24, 1987.

Juhette worked in the mills and shoe shops of Lewiston. She was a member of the Holy Family Church and belonged to the Societe Des Enfants De Marie and Dames De St. Anne.

She enjoyed crafts, cleaning her home, and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Donald Richard and wife, Nanette, of Mountain Home, Texas; daughter, Denise Morin and husband, Donald, of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Shawn Wright and husband, Jeff, of Litchfield, Chad Richard and wife, Erica, of Litchfield; Amy Flack and husband, Tim, of Norwood, N.Y., Heather Tetreault and husband, Jeff, of Minot; and five great-grandchildren, Ethan and Caleb Richard, Peyton Wright, and Jack and Paige Tetreault.

She is predeceased by her parents and four siblings, sisters Arianne Laplante and Muriel Landry; and brothers Omer Parent Sr. and Marcel Parent.
