An electrical problem was blamed for a fire in the engine of this Jeep as it was driven down Country Club Road early Friday night in Norway. Police said the Jeep is owned by Robert Slocum of Oxford. While a family member was driving it at about 6 p.m., flames started shooting from the hood of the vehicle. The driver pulled over and escaped to safety. Fire crews snuffed out the flames, but police said the Jeep was likely a total loss after most of the engine melted in the fire.
