1965 – 2014

FARMINGTON — Michael “Mickey” Rodney Kondas Jr., 48, a resident of Jay, died Friday, March 28, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington.

He was born Sept. 12, 1965, in Farmington, the son of Michael R. Kondas Sr. and Linda (Davis) Kondas. He was a 1984 graduate of Jay High School and continued his education in Culinary Arts in Vermont. He had worked at Forster Manufacturing in Wilton, Elan Boy’s School and as a cook at Bates College in Lewiston. Mickey loved going to the ocean.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Linda Kondas Sr. of Jay; his companion, Frances Moreau of Jay; his sister, Melissa Owusu and her husband, Charles, of Reston, Va.; three nephews, Gino, Chad and Zach; and his cat, “Danny.”
