1918 – 2014

AUBURN — Alice M. Theriault, 95, of Auburn, passed away on Saturday, March 29, in at the Hospice House in Auburn.

She was born on Sept. 29, 1918, in Rumford, to parents Raoul J. and Yvonne (Boivin) Blouin.

Alice was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She volunteered for many years at St. John’s (now Holy Savior) School in Rumford. She also volunteered at the Rumford Hospital, and at the Cozy Inn Nursing Home in East Rumford.

She enjoyed playing cards, knitting and caring for others.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert Theriault and his wife, Nancy, of Westbrook, and Paul Theriault and his wife, Barbara Maas, of Hudson, Mass.; three sisters, Rita Brodeur of Auburn, Raymonde Blouin of Rhode Island, and Gloria Bernard of Rumford; brother, Regis (Brother Francis) Blouin of Alfred; two grandsons, James of Westbrook, and David of Anchorage, Alaska; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Louis and Jean Paul; and her husband, Arthur on Oct. 13, 1987.
