LEWISTON — Several local musicians will perform with Mitch Thomas at Holy Family Parish Hall for a very special fundraising concert at 7 p.m. Friday, April 11. The Knights of Columbus are hosting the event to support the causes connected with their mission and ministries.

Featured in the fun-filled concert are several local musicians who have performed at past Mitch Thomas and Friends concerts. They are trumpeter Jody Steidel; bassist Jeff Munson; guitarist Neil James; and drummer Dr. Jeff Mayerson.

Blues guitarist Paul Kinney will be joining the ensemble for the first time. Kinney will play with the band and be on stage to accompany singing sensation Erin Menzer. The pair brought down the house at the recent “Maine’s Got Talent” contest in Lewiston. Other performers include the talented teenage sister duo, Maddy and Mia-Angelina Leslie of Lewiston.

Thomas, a local pianist/singer/songwriter who directs and performs at Community Little Theatre, has been performing around Maine and the rest of New England for decades. The family-oriented concert, with show tunes, blues and jazz numbers and original songs, will be enjoyed by people of all ages. Tickets are $10 each and children under 16 will be admitted for free.

Tickets will be sold at the door; advance tickets are available at 207-375-6589 or 207-782-0498. The Holy Family Church Hall is at 697 Sabattus Street.

Refreshments, featuring Norm Lebel’s famous crêpes, will be sold at intermission. The church is handicap accessible. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
