1978 – 2014

PORTLAND — Christine R. Rowe, 35, of Waterford, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 6, at Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Rumford on Oct. 25, 1978, the daughter of Stephen and Bonnie Childs Marston. She graduated from Rumford High School and Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing, with an associate degree, in 1998.

She had been employed as a registered nurse at Fryeburg Health Care Center and more recently as a home health nurse for a couple in Norway. She took great pride in the nursing profession and was a compassionate advocate for her patients. She married Jeff Rowe on Aug. 5, 1999. She was busy with her children, and enjoyed being at camp and around the water at Green Pond.

She is survived by her husband of Waterford; son, Michael; daughter, Olivia; her parents of Andover; her brother, Joseph Marston and his wife, Jennifer, of Dixfield; her maternal grandparents, Glynda and James Childs of Andover; her paternal grandmother, Lorraine Marston, of Andover; her god-brother, Kenneth Jodrey; her aunt and uncle, Linda and Michael Clark; uncle, Pat Childs, of Andover; uncle and aunt, Rick and Mary Childs of Peru; and many more aunts, uncles and cousins.
