Holy Week at Old South Church
FARMINGTON — Old South Church in Farmington invites all to join its Holy Week Services. On Palm Sunday, April 13, the church will mark Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem and the start of Holy Week with a palm processional at the 9:30 a.m. worship.
On Maundy Thursday, April 17, there will be a simple soup supper at 5:30 p.m. in the Vestry, followed by a remembrance of the Last Supper in the Matthew Room at 6.
On April 18, the church will host FAEM’s community Good Friday Service at noon in the sanctuary. Easter Sunday will be a celebration of the resurrection at the Sunrise service at 5:47 a.m. on Voter Hill and during the 9:30 festive family worship, ending with an all-church Hallelujah Chorus.

Lobster stew luncheon April 18
FARMINGTON — The Fairbanks Union Church will hold a lobster stew luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 18.
The luncheon includes lobster stew, biscuit, pumpkin or apple dessert and cream, and coffee/tea beverages. Meal is eat-in or take-out.

Passport Dinner features Seuss theme
WILTON — Wilson Grange No. 321 will have another Passport Dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, April 25, on Main Street across from Shelly’s Hometown Market.
The theme is “Passport Dinner to the World of Dr. Seuss.”
The menu will include Green Eggs and Ham. The charge for adults is $12 and children, $8. Reservations are a must and can be made by calling 645-3676 or emailing [email protected].
