AUBURN — Heather Hunter, finance director for the city of Lewiston, recently became the newest member of the board of directors of Auburn Savings Bank.
As a member of the board, Hunter will help oversee the operations and functions of Auburn Bancorp and the organization’s Auburn and Lewiston branches.
Hunter, who will celebrate her 25th year with Lewiston’s Finance Department in October, has served as the city’s director of finance since 2010, and has been responsible for preparing and producing the city’s annual comprehensive financial report, capital improvement plan and annual budget. She and her staff of four oversee all the accounting, payroll, purchasing, and treasury and utility billing functions for the city.
In addition to her work and community involvement, she is restoring her 200-year-old home to its original condition.
