1990 – 2014

LEWISTON — Destiny Marie Crockett, 23, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 26, at Central Maine Medical Center. She was the fiancée of Dwain E. Coughlin.

Destiny was born in Portland on Sept. 26, 1990, a daughter of Marie Angel Bouthillette-Michaud and her husband, Richard P. Michaud, of Buxton and Wilbur S. Crockett of Biddeford. She attended local schools in Portland, before moving to Biddeford, where she graduated from high school. Her maternal grandparents, John and Patricia Southard Sr., raised Destiny until she was 16 years old, when she moved out on her own.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her sister, Jennifer M. Houde. She also had a very special relationship with her daughter, Tianna, with whom she spent as much time as possible.

Besides her fiancé, Dwain, whom Destiny referred to as “her hopes and dreams;” her daughter, Tianna; and her parents and maternal grandparents, she is survived by Dwain’s daughter, Jayden Coughlin, of Lewiston; and several sisters, Patricia Ordway of Old Orchard Beach, Jennifer Houde of Sanford, Kendra Southard-Michaud of Old Orchard Beach, Kaycee Hamilton and her brothers, Josh and Kyle Hamilton, of Biddeford, Teasha Crockett of Lewiston and Coral Ricker.
