RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Touchette was celebrated Tuesday morning at the Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford, with the Rev. Greg Dube as the celebrant.

Bernard Poirier was the altar assistant. Readings were presented by Tanya and Todd Porter. Presenting gifts to the altar were Joseph Touchette Jr. and David Touchette. The eulogy was given by her son, Anthony Touchette. Special music included “Amazing Grace,” sung by a grandson, John Patrick Touchette, accompanied by his mother, Brigitte Touchette, on the guitar. Mark Belanger was the organist and musical selections included “You Are My Shepherd,” “We Will Rise Again” and “On Eagles’ Wings.”

Interment was in St. John Cemetery in Rumford. A reception in the church basement was served by the Daughters of Isabella. Arrangements were under the direction of Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
