Williams hails from North Berwick where she works for SAD 60 as the art department chair. She is business owner and artist of Thorndike Studio, and a member of Maine Women in the Arts, Nine Women and Their Goods, and the Maine Art Education Association.

Her work has been displayed and has won several awards in numerous group shows in the Kennebunkport, Portland, Bangor and North Berwick areas. Currently, watercolors, acrylics, fabric design and copper sculpture are her mediums of choice.
