AUBURN – Dr. and Mrs. Scott Knapp of Auburn are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Emily Knapp, to Joseph Allen III, son of Joseph Allen Jr. of South Portland and Cindy Barnes of Augusta.

An August wedding is planned.

Miss Knapp is a 2000 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. She is currently working as a sales consultant for Wright Express in South Portland and pursuing her master’s degree from Husson University.

Mr. Allen is a 1998 graduate of Cony High School and has earned his bachelor’s degree from Maine Maritime Academy and his master’s degree from Husson University. He is currently working as a logistics engineer for Sappi Fine Paper in South Portland.
