LISBON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Dawn Monk and Christopher Raymond of Lisbon.

Miss Monk is the daughter of the late Nancy L. Wing and Laurence E. Monk. She attended Old Orchard Beach schools and graduated in 1991 from Lewiston High School. She worked at Hudson Bus Lines until being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Mr. Raymond is the son of Normand Raymond of Detroit and Sylvia Raymond of Sabattus. He is a graduate of Nokomis High School in Newport and is employed at Genesis Health Care (Marshwood Nursing Home). Formerly, he worked for nine years for Hudson Bus Lines.

The couple is planning a Valentine Day wedding, Feb. 14, at Apostolic Holiness Church in Poland. A reception will follow at the VFW Hall in Lisbon.
