AUBURN – Sherman Robert and Nancy Jenney of Lake Worth, Fla., celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on Oct. 22. Mr. Jenney married his one true love, the former Nancy Morin, in 1982 in Leeds.

They resided in Leeds for a few years, before moving to the Old Turner Road in Auburn, where they lived for 13 years.

Mr. Jenney was born and raised in Auburn and worked for Cianbro Corp. before moving to Florida in 1998. He now works for Meisner Electric Company of Delray Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Jenney was born and raised in Lewiston, where she worked in the medical field and is now retired from Ridge Terrace Health Care Center, where she was employed as the social services director, and was vice president for the Palm Beach County Social Service Associations.

The couple has resided in Lake Worth, Fla., for the past 12 years. They celebrated pool side at their retirement home in Deltona, Fla., with close long-time friends. They also had a celebration dinner at Gene’s Steak House in Daytona, Fla.

They are members of the Elks and Moose Lodge of West Palm Beach, where they enjoy dancing and attend most functions. Mr. Jenney enjoys his boat and fishing and also enjoys going back to Maine for hunting with friends. Mrs. Jenney enjoys her flower gardens. They both enjoy their retirement home and their pets. Their favorite place to vacation is Aruba.

Mr. and Mrs. Jenney share four children between them, Robert E. Jenney of Auburn, Sherri Norton of Greene, Holly Libby of Kissimmee, Fla., and Raymond Morin Jr. of Whesley Chapel, Fla. They also share seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
