CONCORD, N.H. — John H. Drake, 48, a former resident of Maine, died Wednesday, June 25, at his home in Concord, N.H.

He was born on June 6, 1966, in Brunswick, the son of Henry Drake Jr., and Corinne (Fournier) Drake. He attended school in Livermore and was a 1984 graduate of Maranacook High School.

Following high school he served in the U.S. Navy. John had worked for Pacific Bell in California and was currently working for Wal-Mart in Concord, N.H.

John enjoyed cars and going to road rallies and shows.

He is survived by his parents, Henry and Corinne Drake Jr. of Kents Hill; brothers; Timothy Drake of Augusta and Terry Drake and his wife, Brenda, of Readfield; aunts, Barbara Cunningham of Parker, Colo., Alfreda Fournier of Auburn, Sylvia Allen of West Paris, and Emily Allen of Pittston; an uncle, Glen Drake and his wife, Sandra, of Hebron; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Ruby Drake Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Anatole and Annette Fournier; his sister, Ann Marie Drake; and an uncle, Robert Fournier.
