LEWISTON – Dan and Brenda Johnson of Auburn are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shayna Johnson of Lewiston, to Chad Powell of Lewiston, son of Rick and Pauline Powell of Lewiston.

Miss Johnson is currently attending Central Maine Community College studying social and behavioral sciences. She hopes to become a caseworker for the state of Maine.

Mr. Powell is currently employed at Banknorth Investment Group in Portland and is studying for his series six and 63 licenses.

The wedding will be held Friday evening, Nov. 21, at the Vineyard Church in Lewiston.
