POLAND SPRING – Dave and Vicki Whiting of Poland Spring are announcing the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Alyson, to Ronnie Smith, son of Ed Smith and Sharlene Norris.

Miss Whiting graduated from Edward Little High School and Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing. She is currently an RN at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston.

Mr. Smith graduated from Monmouth Academy and currently works for Hannaford Brothers in Winthrop.

An Aug. 8 wedding is planned.
