WILTON – Sarah Kate Morris and Christopher Michael Alfieri were joined in holy matrimony on Aug. 9 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Wilton. The Rev. Tim Walmer officiated. A reception followed at the home of the parents of the bride in New Sharon.

The bride is the daughter of Robert E. and Janet S. Morris of New Sharon. The bridegroom is the son of Stephen and Rebekah Alfieri of Scarborough and the grandson of Blaine and Nancy Jardine of Cape Elizabeth.

The bride was escorted by her father and was given in marriage by her mother and father. She wore a halter gown in A-line style with beaded lace, a floor-length satin skirt and chapel train. A cornflower blue sash accentuated the waist, and her veil was crystal embroidered in fingertip length. She carried a presentation style bouquet of eight yellow roses.

Amanda Bubier of Farmington, childhood friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Mary Morris of Harrodsburg, Ky., sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.

Best man was David Restrick of Quincy, Mass. Ushers were Bryan Killen of Felton, Del., and Zachery Alfieri of Scarborough, brother of the bridegroom.

Music was performed by Steven Muise, violinist, Abby Flanagan, violinist, and Molly Flanagan, cellist.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Mt. Blue High School in Farmington and a 2008 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a degree in theater arts. She is currently employed at Lens Crafters in South Portland.

The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Scarborough High School and is currently attending the University of Southern Maine working toward a degree in music. He is employed at Home Depot in South Portland.

Following a honeymoon, the couple is residing in Gorham.
