Potluck supper at Baptist Church

Vacation Bible School next week

CARTHAGE — Carthage Union Church will hold a Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, July 14 through 18, at the church, located at 672 Carthage Road.

There will be Bible classes for children of all ages, including teens. There will be an adult Bible class at the same time. There will crafts and games for the children and healthy snacks will be served.

The theme this year is “SonTreasure Island,” based on 1 Corinthians 13, “God’s Love for Us.” The adults will study 1 John.
