AUBURN – The wedding of Erin Tapley and Zachary Bartlett was held at 5 p.m., Feb. 16, at the First Universalist Church in Auburn. The Rev. Dr. Jodi Hayashida officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Bartlett is the daughter of Gary and Patti Tapley of Auburn. Mr. Bartlett is the son of Doug and Nancy Bartlett of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin strapless gown with crystal beads on the asymmetrical bodice, a corset back and a ruched, pick-up skirt with crystal beading. She carried a bouquet of pink and red flowers, which was made by Mary MacMahon, a close friend of the family.

Diana MacMahon, childhood friend, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Susan Tapley, friend and sister-in-law of the bride, Meghan Bartlett, sister of the bridegroom, Jessie Pert and Kristin Sanieski, friends of the bride, and Sonya Tapley, cousin of the bride.

Doug Bartlett served as best man for his son. Ushers were Scott Tapley, brother of the bride, and Kory Brown, Jake Ference, Mark Lehner and Jeff McLaughlin, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled on a cruise to the Western Caribbean.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2004 graduate of Wheaton College in Norton, Mass. She is employed at the University of Maine system office in Bangor.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2008 graduate of Eastern Maine Community College. He is a member of the Geek Squad at Best Buy in Bangor.
