CANTON – Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Kilbreth of Canton and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Irish of Peru are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Libby Kilbreth and Jason Irish.

Miss Kilbreth is a 2003 graduate of Dirigo High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in early childhood education. She is currently employed as a long-term substitute teacher at W.G. Mallett School in Farmington.

Mr. Irish is a 2000 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and is employed in the family business, Irish Family Logging.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 1, 2009, at St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford.
