LIVERMORE FALLS – Fran Brown-Madore is announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her son, Nathan B. Gile, to Kristin Leona Littwin.

The future bridegroom is executive chef at the Bombay Club in New Orleans, La. The future bride is an artist in New Orleans, La. Both survived Hurricane Katrina and consider themselves part of the new New Orleans.

Mr. Gile attended school in Sanford and culinary school in Seattle, Wash. His father, Wayne A. Gile Sr., lives in Sanford.

The couple will wed July 1 in New Orleans, La., aboard the river boat Creole Queen. The ceremony will be followed by a river cruise. There will also be a second line parade to the reception, which will take place at the Conti Wax Museum.
