LEWISTON – The wedding of Sheri Rollins and Keith Bates was held at 1 p.m., Oct. 6, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lewiston. The Rev. Wayne Sawyer officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Bates is the daughter of Luther and Mae Miller of Spruce Head. Mr. Bates is the son of Doris and Wayne McNally of Leeds and Harold and Sandy Bates of Greene.

The bride, given in marriage by her sons, Joshua and Zachary Rollins, wore a floor-length satin gown in off-white and she carried a bouquet of mixed fall flowers.

Stacie Smith was matron of honor for her aunt. Bridesmaids were Paula Rytky, sister of the bride, Denise Rytky, niece of the bride, and Cassy Bates, daughter of the bridegroom. Alexis Rytky, grandniece of the bride, was flower girl.

A brother of the bridegroom, Sheldon Bates, was best man. Ushers were Bill Smith, husband of the matron of honor, Derrick Bates, son of the bridegroom, and Dylan and Casey Smith, grandnephews of the bride. Cole Brown was the ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of GVHS and attended Husson College. She is employed at Landry’s Quick Stop.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He is employed at Bates Farm.
