LEEDS – Victoria and Rick Ballard of Leeds and Bob Raymond of Lewiston are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill Ann Raymond, to David Pichette son of Andre and Renee Pichette of Ottawa, Ontario.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Eileen Bates and the late Ronald Bates of Lewiston and the late Al and Elsie Pierce of Lisbon. She is a 1996 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Wales and a 2002 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in communication disorders. She is currently employed as a speech language pathologist in a rehabilitation facility.

The future bridegroom is currently touring the country as the fiddle player with the country music band Emerson Drive.

The couple resides in Nashville, Tenn. They are planning a small destination wedding in May and a reception celebration in Maine in July.
