PORTLAND – The wedding of Kathleen Godbout and Nathan Daniel Marcoux was held at 3 p.m., Aug. 24, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cathedral in Portland. The Rev. Frank Murray officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Marcoux is the daughter of Rachel Godbout of Berlin, N.H., and the late Roger Godbout. Mr. Marcoux is the son of Louise Michaud of Lewiston and the late Daniel Marcoux.

The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a chantilly gown and carried a bouquet of delicate assorted pink roses.

Khristine Boucher, sister, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Janine Lambert, Audrey Machowski, Taylor Legare and Kristen Chambers. Shaeliegh Valliere and Kaedaynce Boucher were flower girls.

Serving as best man was James Machowski, brother-in-law. Ushers were Josh Lovering, Nick Legare, Troy Bouchard and Larry Caron.

A reception followed at the Eastland Park Hotel in Portland, after which the couple traveled to Excellence Riveria Cancun in Porto Morelos, Mexico.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Berlin High School and graduated from the University of New England with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Central Maine Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Lewiston High School and attended the University of Southern Maine. He is a member of the management team at Lighting Concepts.
