WILTON — A memorial Mass for Bruce Henry Plummer, of West Farmington, was held Wednesday, July 23, at 2 p.m., at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, High Street, Wilton, with the Rev. Timothy Walmer as celebrant.

Brenda Hart Holman was the altar attendant, organist was Kathryn Sytsma and Lee Ann Tinker was the pianist. The first congregational hymn was “On Eagles’ Wings.” The First Lesson: Lamentations 3:22-26, 30-32, was read by Emily Brittelli and the King James Version of Psalm 23 was led by Caitlin Brittelli; the Second Lesson: 1 John 3:1-2 was read by Joseph Brittelli. “You Are Near” was played prior to the Gospel reading: John 10: 11-16.

The Rev. Tim Walmer delivered the homily with family remembrances shared by his children, Mark Plummer and Sara Plummer Horton, and close family friend, Walter Gooley. The gifts were presented by his daughters. The offertory hymn was “Rock of Ages;” communion hymn, “Lord of all Hopefulness;” and closing hymn, “O God, Our Help in Ages Past.”

Following services, the Plummer family welcomed everyone to their home for a reception. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center of Farmington.
