AUBURN – The wedding of Sarah Longstaff and James Flagg was held at 4:30 p.m., Sept. 1, at the First Universalist Church in Auburn. The Rev. Donald Mayberry officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Flagg is the daughter of David and Mary Longstaff of Norway. Mr. Flagg is the son of Forrest and Diane Flagg of Fayette.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. A sister of the bride, Michelle Longstaff, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elissa Skehan, cousin, and Jennifer Botka, Melissa Elkins, Kashina Bourque-Micklon, Kayla Koch and Andrea Richards, friends.
Keith Flagg performed the duties of best man for his brother. Ushers were Tom Roy, Keith Tibbetts, David Brackett, Jason Welch, Ryan Laverdiere and Glenn Carlson, friends.
A reception followed at the Ramada Inn, after which the couple traveled to Jamaica.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. She is employed at Oxford Hills Internal Medicine in Norway.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. He is a chemical engineer at Hercules Inc. in Rumford.
