BOOTHBAY HARBOR – The wedding of Brooke Crowley and Derek Nadeau was held at 2:30 p.m. on June 2 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Boothbay Harbor. The Rev. Alfred Irving officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Nadeau is the daughter of Anthony and Anna Crowley of Lewiston. Mr. Nadeau is the son of Michael and Diane Nadeau of Lewiston.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless light gold gown with full-bustled skirt with corsage-laced bodice and corset back. She carried a bouquet of off white, pink and chocolate roses with an accent of green hydrangea and berries.
Melissa Jipson and Mjae Langley, both “sisters,” were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Caron, Beth St. Laurent, Samantha Theberge and Jessica Wiers, friends, and Michelle Crowley, sister-in-law. Kaylee Jipson, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Corey Boulet, friend, served as best man. Groomsmen were Joshua Crowley, brother of the bride, and Nicholas Miller, Aaron Chiaravelotti, Nicholas Roy, Paul Ras and Eric Deane, friends. Caed Langley, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Spruce Point Inn Resort in Boothbay Harbor, after which the couple traveled to Riviera Maya in Mexico. They are residing in Sabattus.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2004 graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., with a bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy. She is a respiratory therapist at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2005 graduate of Northeastern University in Boston with a doctorate in pharmacy. He is a clinical pharmacist at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
