POLAND – A surprise party was held recently for Maurice and Gertrude Levesque of Poland, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Party hosts were Monique Cloutier, Don Levesque, Sheila Vaccaro and Connie Rioux. The gathering was held at Range Pond Campground.

Decorations were in gold with crepe paper and bells. Charlie Morin was toastmaster and Doreene Sargent had charge of the guest book.

Mr. Levesque and the former Gertrude Morin were married Sept. 14, 1957, at Saints Peter and Paul Church. They have a son, Donald, and two grandchildren, Scott and Sarah Levesque.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Levesque was administrator at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Levesque was employed at Bath Iron Works.

Original wedding attendants present were Monique Cloutier, Terry Morin and and Charlie Morin.
