MINOT – Announcement is made of the engagement of Tracy Downing of Minot and Benjamin Corey of Yarmouth.

Miss Downing is the daughter of Bruce Downing of Minot and Brenda Soule of Yarmouth. She is a 1993 graduate of Edward Little High School, and received her bachelor’s degree in human development and family centered care from the University of Maine at Orono. She received her master’s degree in human development with a specialty in child life from Wheelock College in Boston, and a master’s degree in education and counseling from the University of Southern Maine. She is associate program director of the juvenile risk reduction program at Spurwink Services.

Mr. Corey is the son of Richard Corey of West Wilton and Robyn Hedegard of Waterboro. He is a 1994 graduate of Biddeford High School and received an associate degree in management and associate degree in instruction of military science and technology, both from the Community College of the Air Force. He also received a bachelor’s degree in ministry from Trinity College and is retired. He is a highly-decorated Air Force technical sergeant, and owner of Corey Pro Photography.

The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. on Nov. 17 at Robinhood Free Meeting House in Georgetown.
