LEWISTON – Leyon and Constance (Gladu) Traynor of Lewiston were honored recently on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple was married Dec. 1, 1956, at Saints Peter and Paul Church.
The celebration was held at the Elks Lodge and hosted by their four children and their spouses, Timothy and Doreen Traynor, Christopher and Katie Traynor, Constance Mary and David Sirois, and Ryan and Rachel Traynor. Grandchildren in attendance were Katie, Erica, Alison and Haleigh Traynor; Seth, Kayleigh and Christian Traynor; and Jade and Liza Sirois.
Son Timothy was toastmaster, and the couple’s granddaughter, Alison, sang some special songs. The renewal of marriage vows was performed by the Rev. Ken Daken.
Friends and family attended from Maryland, Missouri, Florida, New York and Connecticut.
