PORTLAND – The wedding of Amanda Blodgett and Paul White was held Aug. 4 in Portland. An aunt of the bridegroom, Roseanna Susbury, officiated at the ceremony at Fort Allen Park in Portland.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Elaine Blodgett of Mexico. The bridegroom is the son of Arthur White and Marsha White, both of Peru.

The bride was escorted by her mother and father. Judy Penley was matron of honor and Michelle Duguay was maid of honor. Erica Arsenault and Marlene Robbins were bridesmaids, and a niece of the bride, Hadley Blodgett, was flower girl.

Best man was Philip “Michael” Penley. Groomsmen were Kevin Sawyer, Aaron “Bull” Arsenault and Joseph Flagg. A nephew of the bridegroom, Brian Duguay, was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Marriott Sable Oaks in South Portland. The couple honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Canada. They are residing in Peru.

The bride is a graduate of Mountain Valley High School and received a bachelor’s degree from New England College. She is currently employed at Wal-Mart.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Dirigo High School and is currently employed at Roland Tyler Logging.
