GREENWOOD – Maurice and Diana Nadeau of Greenwood are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Marianne Nadeau of Denver, Colo., to Evan Kaplan of Denver, Colo., son of Chickie and Barbara Kaplan of Delray Beach, Fla.

Miss Nadeau is a 2001 graduate of Telstar Regional High School in Bethel and a 2004 graduate of the University of Florida, where she received a bachelor’s degree. In 2005 she received a master’s degree at the University of Colorado. She is employed as an accountant at Kundinger, Corder and Engle in Denver.

Mr. Kaplan is a 1995 graduate of Westfield High School in Westfield, N.J., and in 1999 received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford. He is employed as restaurant manager at Kona Grill in Denver.

A spring wedding is planned.
