SABATTUS – Jim and Carol Powers of Sabattus are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Julianne Powers, to Alex Kolbe, son of Peter and Pauline Kolbe of Sabattus.

Miss Powers is a 2007 graduate of Oak Hill High School and plans to attend the Dental Careers Institute in the fall. She is currently employed at CVS in Lewiston.

Mr. Kolbe is a 2007 graduate of Oak Hill High School and plans to attend Central Maine Community College in the fall, for machine tool. He is currently employed at Yvon’s Car Wash in Lewiston.

A summer 2009 wedding is planned.
