ROCKPORT – The wedding of Michelle J. Baillargeon and Thomas D. Cote was held at 3 p.m. on Jan. 27, the bride’s birthday, at the Samoset Resort. Angela M. white, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Cote is the daughter of Rose and Willie Lemarie of Greene. Mr. Cote is the son of Roger and Joline Cote of Sabattus.
The bride was escorted by her father to the oceanside view from the east end of the resort. She wore an ankle length ivory gown adorned with pearls and an 18-carat solid gold necklace with her mother’s first diamond in a heart that was especially designed by her father for their 30th wedding anniversary.
Rose Lemarie was maid of honor for her daughter. Angie White, friend of the couple, was bridesmaid.
Willie Lemarie, father of the bride, served as best man, and Patrick Cooper, friend of the couple, was the usher.
A reception followed at the Samoset Resort, after which the couple traveled on a seven-day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. They are residing in Lewiston with their two Boxers, Allie and Abbie.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and attended the University of Maine and Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing. She is employed at Affiliated Laboratory and with Dr. Pamela Wansker in Greene.
The bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Oak Hill High School and is employed as FedEx feeder pilot at Wiggins Airways in Manchester, N.H.
