LISBON FALLS – David and Judy Abbott of Lyman are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Abbott, to Jason Brooks of Lisbon Falls, son of David and Lynne Brooks.

Miss Abbott attended Massabesic High School and is a 2002 graduate of Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. She is employed at Spring Harbor Hospital and works at Maine Medical Center.

Mr. Brooks attended Lisbon High School and is a 2002 graduate of Colby College in Waterville. He has worked as a police officer for Sanford Police Department since 2003.

An Oct. 6 wedding is planned at Sebasco Harbor Resort in Sebasco Estates.
