LEWISTON – The wedding of Amy Martin and Roberto Colon was held at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 30 at the Carriage House Banquet Facility in Lewiston. Deborah Bockus, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Colon is the daughter of Forrest and Mary Martin of Mechanic Falls and the granddaughter of Eleanor Small of Mechanic Falls. Mr. Colon is the son of Rachel Colon of Mechanic Falls.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless A-line gown in white with pewter beading, gathered at the waist with lace-up back. She carried a bouquet of burgundy and white roses.

A sister of the bride, Sarah Martin, attended as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Francine Gagne, sister of the bridegroom, and Stephanie Scott and Nicole Vachon, childhood friends of the bride.

Robbie Gagne served as best man for his brother-in-law, and ushers were Jeffrey Wing, Jonathan Decker and Daniel Poulin, friends of the bridegroom.

The reading was done by Erin Stadler, childhood friend of the bride.

A reception followed at the Carriage House Banquet Facility, after which the couple traveled to Disney World in Orlando, Fla. They are residing in Poland.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in natural and applied science. She received her master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2004 from the University of Southern Maine and is employed as an occupational therapist at Market Square Healthcare Center in South Paris.

The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Lewiston High School and served eight years in the U.S. Army. He is employed at Pioneer Plastics in Auburn.
