1922 – 2014

RUMFORD — Georgette G. Gill, 91, of Canton and formerly of West Peru for many years, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Rumford Hospital.

She was born in Rumford on Dec. 7, 1922, the daughter of Clement and Lea (Beaudet) Theberge, and attended Rumford schools.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was married in Macon, Ga., on March 17, 1945, to Harold M. Gill, who died in Rumford on Aug. 19, 2006.

Survivors include her sons, Peter Gill and wife, Marie-Estelle, of Sabattus and Harold R. Gill of Lyndeborough, N.H.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
