LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Nina Carbonneau and Arlon “Butch” Webster, both of Lewiston.

The future bride is the daughter of Jeanne Carbonneau of Lewiston and the late Roland Carbonneau. She is a 1987 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a master’s degree in education. She has been employed with the Lewiston School Department since September of 1977 as a special education teacher. She is currently teaching at Gov. James B. Longley Elementary School in Lewiston.

The future bridegroom is the son of the late Carroll and Emma Webster of Wales. He is a 1968 graduate of Monmouth Academy and served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He has been employed with the Lewiston Fire Department as a firefighter since September of 1977. He is currently assigned at the Main Street fire station in Lewiston.

A 2007 spring wedding has been planned.
