LEWISTON – The wedding of Ellen Redding Sangalang and Edward Charles Harding was held at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 at the Bates College Chapel in Lewiston. Pastor Eric Cranston officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Harding is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Manuel Sangalang of Lewiston. Mr. Harding is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Robert Harding of Methuen, Mass.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a one-piece, a-line gown ornamented with crystals raining on the side and front and on the back train. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Roxann Jackson, friend of the bride, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Jennifer Harding, sister of the bridegroom, Jennifer Sangalang, cousin of the bride, and Cheryl Whiting and Kathy Blevins, friends of the bride. Jade Norton, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Peter J. Boure, friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man, and ushers were Andrew Sangalang, brother of the bride, Stephen Butts, cousin of the bridegroom, and Stephen Marcinowski and Darren Mini, friends of the bridegroom, Caleb Boure, friend of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Hawaii. They are residing in Salem, N.H.

The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School, St. Joseph’s College in Windham and the University of Southern Maine. She is employed at Windham Professionals in Salem, N.H.

The bridegroom is a graduate of North Shore Community College in Danvers, Mass., and is a self-employed physical therapist.
