GREENE – The wedding of Jamie Lyn Henry and Travis Emery Gammon was held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 22 at the Baptist Church of Greene. Pastor Chet Garrison officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Gammon is the daughter of John and Julie Henry of Greene. Mr. Gammon is the son of Francis and Pamela Gammon of Buckfield.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless gown with organza overlay, with beads along the bodice and down the side and lace-up back. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrandas, white hydrangeas and white roses.
Beth LeBlanc, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Jenna Marstaller, friend of the bride, and Jessica Henry and Jenny Henry, sisters of the bride. Alexis Rose Ward, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Brian Bullecks served as best man for his friend, and ushers were Corey Maillette and Josh Campbell, mutual friends. Hunter Driscoll, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Boofy Quimby Memorial Hall in Turner, after which the couple traveled to Waikiki Beach on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. They are residing in Greene.
The bride is a graduate of Buckfield High School and Central Maine Community College, with an associate degree in computer technology. She is a student at Central Maine Community College, majoring in culinary arts.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Buckfield High School and is employed at LePage Bakeries in Lewiston.
