GREENE – The wedding of Jill Michelle Nielsen and Ronald L. Tracy was held at 4 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the home of the parents of the bride, Fern and Linda Grandmaison in Greene. A personal friend of the family and notary public, Edmond Pelletier, officiated at the ceremony. Mr. Tracy is the son of Neil and Jan Tracy of Wells.

Two daughters of the bride, Kylie and Morgan Nielsen, served as flower girls and presented the wedding rings to the couple.

The bride wore a floor-length red silk strapless gown and her great-grandmother’s antique white pearls. The mothers of the couple read selected passages during the ceremony. A central Valentine theme was chosen and red and white decorations were featured throughout.

A reception followed attended by close family of the couple.

Mrs. Tracy has been employed at Holy Cross School in Lewiston for the last seven years. She currently teaches a fourth/fifth multi-grade.

Mr. Tracy is the owner of R.L. Tracy Builders and is also licensed for historical restorations.

The couple honeymooned in the White Mountains during February vacation and will extend their wedding trip with a journey to Africa later this year.
