AUBURN – The wedding of Josslyn Jalbert and Jessie D. Ray was held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the Auburn Methodist Church. Pastor Richard Cullen officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Ray is the daughter of Jack Jalbert of Auburn, and Marc and Sue Lajoie of Poland. Mr. Ray is the son of Kathy Ray of Lewiston, and Dwine and Rita Ray of Sabattus.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and Mr. and Mrs. Ray’s daughter, Veydah Maria Ray. Close friends and family of the couple stood by them at the altar.

A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston, after which the couple spent a week in Mexico.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Independence High School in Roseville, Calif., and a 2004 graduate of Andover College in Portland with a degree in paralegal studies. She is currently employed at Isaacson and Raymond, P.A., in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Wales and has been a long-time employee of Dotens Construction in Freeport.
