COLLINS — Eldora May (Goding), 74, of Auburn, died Thursday, Sept. 4. Funeral services honoring Eldora’s life will be held on Monday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m., at East Auburn Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tim Howard officiating. Graveside committal prayers will follow at Penley Corner Cemetery in Auburn. DANFORTH JR. — Ernest D., 87, of Farmingdale, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Litchfield Community Christian Church, 1881 Hallowell Road, Litchfield. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, at BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main St., Monmouth. HIGGINS —Virginia M., 91, of Lisbon died Friday, Sept. 5, at the Freeport Nursing and Rehabilitation facility. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church in Lisbon Falls. Interment will be at New Harbor Cemetery in Bristol.
