1938 – 2014

PORTLAND — Germaine L. (Nadeau) St. Pierre, 76, of Auburn and formerly of Leesburg, Fla., died Friday, Sept. 5, at Maine Medical Center. She was the wife of the late A. Roger St. Pierre, who passed away six months ago.

She was born in Auburn on July 3, 1938, a daughter of the late Donat and Claire (Leriche) Nadeau. Germaine grew up in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School.

Germaine worked at Casco Bank in Maine and Sun Trust in Florida doing various banking positions. After retiring from the bank, she spent the past few years as a receptionist for Releme Center in Eustis, Fla., before retiring.

She was a communicant of St. Paul’s Church in Leesburg, Fla. Before she retired, she enjoyed bowling and dancing. Most of all, she loved spending quality time with family and friends.

Germaine is survived by her daughter, Ann St. Pierre and her companion, Jeffrey Allard, of Ware, Mass.; her son, John St. Pierre and his wife, Deanna, of Winthrop; and her two granddaughters, Emily and Alyssa. She also leaves a sister, Sister Pauline Nadeau, of Canada; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Paul, Donald, Bertrand and Marcel Nadeau.
